A course in spoken and written Serbo-Croat for someone who has never learnt Serbo-Croat before or who wants to brush up rusty skills. Based on the Council of Europe's guidelines on language learning, it is a practical, modern course with a graded structure. The first five units provide an introduction and enough "survival language" to get by in everyday situations. The pace is then stepped up and the learner is given a grounding in Serbo-Croat grammar and vocabulary.
