Soft Tissue Release (STR) is becoming an increasingly popular soft tissue treatment technique. It is being used as a therapy itself and alongside other modalities in the treatment of a range of soft tissue problems. STR is invaluable in the treatment of chronic injury and also has huge implications for assessing muscle dysfunction. This unique book clearly shows the reader how STR can be used to treat common injuries and conditions. Packed full of colour photographs and anatomical drawings, the book integrates the use of STR with an understanding of how dysfunction in the body's essential movement patterns can impact on everyday life and sporting activities. The reader will be able to employ STR quickly to restore pain free movement and sporting performance.
