Acknowledgements
Paul Allen worked as a building surveyor, a systems analyst in IT and a photographer before being struck down by a devastating stroke in 2012. This has left him paralysed and unable to speak. Paul is an amazing man, not one to let a disability get in his way. Using just his left eye he is able to blink through the alphabet and build up words into sentences and paragraphs and so can in effect dictate his stories.
