Prof. G L Sivakumar Babu is Professor, Geotechnical Engineering Division, Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, India. He served as President, Indian Geotechnical Society, for four years during 2017-2020 and as Governor, ASCE Board of Governors, Region 10, during 2014 to 2020. He is an awardee of John Booker Medal, International Association for Computer Methods and Advances in Geomechanics (IACMAG), USA, for the year 2017. His areas of research include risk and reliability applications in geotechnical engineering, geosynthetics and reinforced soil structures, environmental geotechnology, fibers in geotechnical engineering, earthquake geotechnical engineering, and geotechnics for disaster mitigation. A total of over 200 papers in journals and 200 in conferences have been published. He is Editorial Board Member and Reviewer of several reputed journals.





Dr. Raviraj H. Mulangi is currently working as Associate Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. Dr. Raviraj obtained his obtained Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in the year 2015. His research interests are in the field of Road safety Audit, Public Transportation, and Highway Geometric Design. He has published more than 30 research articles in reputed journals, Elsevier, and Springer publishing houses.





Dr. Sreevalsa Kolathayar is presently Professor In-charge of Institution's Innovation Council & Associate Professor in Civil Engineering at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Karnataka, Surathkal, India. He has authored five books, edited twelve books, and published over 100 research articles. He is on the editorial board of several international journals. He is the recipient of the ISET DK Paul Research Award from Indian Society of Earthquake Technology for the best Ph.D. thesis on Earthquake Risk Reduction in India. He received "IEI Young Engineers Award" by The Institution of Engineers (India), in the year 2019. He is on the Roster of two technical committees of ASCE Geo-Institute and acts as a Member of BIS CED 39 for three IS codes.
