The latest sampling from a longitudinal study of 9,000 Britains born in the same week in 1970. A survey one year before the new Labour Government came into office shows a growing gulf between those who are getting on with their careers and blooming, and those who are being left behind. The fracture is most obvious in financial and career matters, but also runs through almost every other dimension of life. The analysis looks at what characterizes success integration into adult life as opposed to marginalization and social exclusion. Annotation c. by Book News, Inc., Portland, Or.
