"The constant surge in solid and liquid waste generation and lack of effective waste management strategies is posing serious threats to the environment and mankind. Thus, there is an urgent need to limit the amount of waste through eco-friendly and economically viable techniques. At the same time, a clear and strategic implementation of well-structured approaches to enhance its value and further conversion to value-added products is also required. The organic composition and nutrient richness make industrial waste a potential feedstock for producing a vast array of bio-based value-added products"-- Provided by publisher.

This book explores cutting-edge biotechnological innovations transforming waste into valuable resources. It delves into microbial solutions, bioenergy production, industrial effluent treatment, plastic biodegradation, and bioelectrochemical advancements for sustainable waste management.
