This learning toy, with animals as its theme, is designed for preschool children and contains a set of 32 laminated cards and a length of string joined together by a rivet. To play, wind the string around a card from one pair of pictures to the next; then, when children have matched all the pictures, they can look at the back of the card to see what pattern the string has made. "Stringalongs" are a compelling and fun way for young children to practise matching and sorting skills.
