Originally from England, John V. Mutlow, FAIA, practices architecture in Los Angeles and teaches at the University of Southern California. He is an ACSA Distinguished Professor and Director of Global Studies at the university. Noted for his extensive work in the areas of multi-family and single family housing, especially with the Hispanic community in Los Angeles, which has led to his professional exchanges with Mexican architects. Prof. Mutlow has has received numerous design awards and written extensively, including Architects' Homes, ISBN 9781864706086, and The American House: Design for Living, ISBN 9781875498109.
