This book studies various aspects of translation. It deals with the identity of translation, its determinants, politics and translation, and the translation of scientific terminology. Dr Aditya Kumar Panda is working at the National Translation Mission of the Central Institute of Indian Languages, India. He carries out research in the fields of applied linguistics, translation studies and English language teaching. His publications include Politics and Translation, Words, Source, Context and Speaker: Determinants of Translation, and Thoughts on Abhimanyu and Innateness, among others.
